This past weekend I added a few more things to my Halloween/Fall decorations outside and inside. Outside I added some pumpkins and mums and on the inside I added some new Partylite stuff from my recent PL party and a couple little things I bought from Dollar General and Old Time Pottery. I just love Fall/Halloween decorations. Their so fun. :-)

Sunday Afternoon ~ Halloween decorating outside and a bonfire.
Since football started, my Mom, Dad, Sister, Brother-in-Law and Nephew have been coming over on Sundays for lunch, football for the guys and just some bonding time for us girls. Last Sunday we had a bonfire in our new fire pit, so we decided to have another this past Sunday (yesterday). While the guys watched football, us girls decorated the outside of my house for Halloween. It was so fun and something I've wanted to do, but would have never done without their help. We're not completely done, but here's some pictures of it so far and a few pictures of our 2nd bonfire. The guys are taking turns building the fire to see who does the better job, LOL. So this was Jake's turn. He did a great job!!
The front of our house all decorated for Halloween. I still want to add some more lights to the other two windows to the left of the door and get some mums for my two planters on either side of my front door and another mum for my hanging planter.

My foster puppies...
Well by now, you all know I'm a big animal lover. I started volunteering at Stray Rescue of St. Louis back in July of this year, basically just walking dogs a day or two a week on my lunch hour. I've always wanted to foster, but just never actually took the plunge. My husband was always a little iffy on the subject, so I never really pushed it. But this past Friday at work, the man that got me signed up to volunteer (who also works in my building), brought two puppies that he was fostering in for our office to see. He said there were more at the shelter that needed to be fostered, so I decided to head over there after work and take a look. All of this was going on without Jake knowing, yikes!!! I knew if I asked him, it would be too easy for him to say no, but I also knew if I brought them home, he wouldn't tell me to take them back, lol. So I brought the 2 remaining puppies home from the litter of 6 that were left. The other 4 are also being fostered right now. They are about 6 weeks old, I believe, and are waiting to get their last round of shots and be spayed/neutered before they can be put up for adoption. So, for now, they are living with us and I'm loving every minute of it. Its going to definately be bittersweet when they find their forever homes as I'm already growing attached to them. They're just so darn sweet and cute. Here are a few pictures of the puppies. I've got a boy and a girl from the litter. I'm also attaching a link to their rescue story, if you're interested in reading it.

Halloween/Fall Decorations 2010
This past week I was able to decorate my house for Halloween/Fall. The rooms I decorate for holidays are my living room and kitchen/dining room. I love Fall decorations. I just love the smells and colors. Pretty much all of my decorations have come from Partylite. I used to sell Partylite so I was able to get a lot of my decorations then and I've also had a party every year around this time to be able to get more. :-) So here they are...
This is my dining room table. I used my everyday placemats and plates and added a deep red napkin and a pine cone to each place setting. The pumpkin centerpiece is from Partylite and I have a pumpkin scented candle (PL) in the middle with some leaves and mini pine cones around it. The leaves salt and pepper shakers I bought from Walmart last year.

The bakers rack in my kitchen/dining room all decorated for fall. The candle holders are all from Partylite and the little pumpkin shaped candy dish I bought from Walgreens a couple years ago. I also used some artificial fall leaves to add to my decorations throughout my kitchen and living room.
Candy Corn, my favorite!!
The little table in my kitchen. The candle and shade are both from Partylite of course and the brick cat under the table was a gift from my mom. She made it herself, so cute!!
My stove... The lantern is PL and it has magnet covers that go over it for different seasons. These are the ones I have for Halloween. The pumpkin salt and pepper shakers my mom just got for me from Walmart this year.
My entryway table in my living room. I bought the runner from Old Time Pottery a couple years ago. Every thing else is from PL.
My coffee table. The bowl and candle are from partylite and the potpourri around the candle is from Hobby Lobby.
A close up of the bowl and candle.
My aunt gave me this haunted tealight house (PL) several years ago. I just love it!! It is sitting on the end table in my living room.
My entertainment center decorated for Halloween. All pieces are from PL.
