Our 10 Year Anniversary Trip to Washington State: Day 6

On day 6 of our trip, we said goodbye to Orcas Island. I was sad to leave, but I had no idea where we were going next. Had I known, I may not have been quite so sad.

We took the ferry over to Anacortes, WA and then from there drove to Snoqualmie, WA. We checked into the Salish Lodge and Spa, which is right next to Snoqualmie Falls. It was absolutely beautiful.

We dropped off our bags and headed to The Club at Snoqualmie Ridge for a tee-time. Jake loves to golf and this is a pretty awesome golf course that you can only play if you're a member or if you stay at the Salish. The golf course was really beautiful. I rode along in the cart and had a relaxing time taking pictures and enjoying the quiet.

A deer we saw on the golf course.

You could see the Salish and Snoqualmie Falls from the golf course.

After golf, we went back to the Salish to get unpacked and settled in. The falls were right outside our room. Jake spared no expense on this trip. It really was amazing. There were rose pedals in our room and champagne waiting for us.

That night we had dinner and drinks at The Attic at the Salish. It was casual dining and very good food. It was such a fun day!
