West Palm Beach Vacation: Day 6

Day 6 of our trip was on Thursday. That morning we had a reservation for parasailing with Adventure Watersports! I highly recommend them if you're ever on Singer Island and want to parasail. The crew we had was so great and friendly. It was Jackson's first time to parasail and it was so much fun to experience it with him. He's a dare-devil for sure, but even he was a little nervous about parasailing and didn't quite know what to expect. Jake and I have both parasailed before and thought it would be fun to take Jackson since he was old enough.

He loved it! It was only about 20 minutes of being up in the air and then they brought us down for a little dip where only our feet got wet. While we were up in the air though, he said to look around and see if we could see any fish, dolphin or sea turtles. So we were looking hard to hopefully see something cool and we ended up seeing a very big fish that our captain said was more than likely a tiger shark based on our explanation of it. Jackson thought that was pretty cool that we got to see a shark!

I ordered the picture package for an extra $30 and they took a ton of pictures for us which was awesome!

That afternoon we went to eat lunch at Rafiki Tiki, which was very good by the way. Then we went to the store to get some food for dinner, We grilled filet mignon that night and it was delicious. After going to the store, we headed back to the rental house where we hung out by the pool and just relaxed all day.

There were so many little lizards hanging out in the backyard of the rental house. At one time I counted 5 different lizards all on the fence at one time. This guy was one of them.

And this guy was rather interesting. Occasionally he would flare out his neck which was quite a surprise. I'm not sure what kind of lizard he was but it was cool to watch him do his thing. Ha.

Avery playing with her LOL Surprise Dolls. She's obsessed with them.

Jackson and Papa racing in the pool. :-)

That evening we took some family pictures down by the beach. I wrote a post all about them here if you'd like to see the rest.

And that's a wrap for Day 6 of our West Palm Beach Vacation.
