Baby Shower given to me by the ladies at Church.

Our church gives every lady a baby shower for their first child, after the baby is born. So this past Saturday was Jackson's baby shower there. It was a nice mid morning brunch. We had waffles, fruit and danishes. Here are a few pictures from the shower.

New Pictures of Jackson and his 6 week Dr. appointment.

Jackson had his 6 week Dr. appointment yesterday. The Dr. said Jackson is doing great!! He weighed 11 pounds 13 ounces and is 23 1/2 inches long. He said he's in the 90th percentile for his length and 75th percentile for his weight. He's now eating 6 ozs. every 4 hours and gaining weight like a champ. He's wearing 3-6 month clothes already and is very strong. He's holding his head up very well and will stand his legs up on our laps. He's starting to "talk" to us some and smile, which makes mommy smile too. He's getting up about once a night to eat and last night he went 6 1/2 hours between feedings, yay!! Hoping thats a sign of more nights like that to come. I go back to work on Dec. 20th and I'm hoping to get him into a nice routine so that I can get a pretty good nights sleep.

So everythings going great and we feel so very blessed to have him in our lives.

Here are a few recent/random pictures I thought I'd share. Enjoy...

Best Buds: Mason on the left and Jackson on the right. I love how they have their arms intertwined with one another. So cute.

The day after Thanksgiving, Jake and I took Jackson to Richmond, MO to meet Jackson's Great Great Grandma Smith. She's in her late 80's and still getting around pretty good. She enjoyed meeting Jackson and we enjoyed spending the day with her.

Jake's mom has an outfit that she had each of her 3 boys pictures made in when they were all around the same age. She still happened to have the outfit so she let me borrow it and I took Jackson's picture in it. I'm going to buy a double 4x6 frame and put the picture of Jake and the picture of Jackson in the same outfit as a Christmas gift to Jake's mom.

And here are Jake's oldest brother Larry, his middle brother Pat and himself, all wearing the same outfit.

This outfit Jackson is wearing, was Jake's first Christmas outfit. It barely fit Jackson, so I'm glad I tried it on him when I did. :-)
