What I'm Loving Wednesday!

♥ I'm loving this Fall like weather we're having this week here in St. Louis!

♥ I'm loving that I just ordered this super cute Halloween costume for Jackson yesterday. This will be his first real Halloween and I'm so excited! (He was only a few days old last year.) I found it online and sent a picture to Jake to see what he thought. He loved it and made me order it right away! Ha.

♥ I'm loving these super cute glass block lights that my mom is making for a fundraiser for our church. They would be so cute sitting out on Halloween night!! I especially love the Mummy light in the bottom left hand corner. Isn't he adorable?!?

♥ Pepperidge Farm Pumpkin Cheesecake cookies! These are so good.

♥ And as always, I'm loving these two guys!

Jackson's 47 Week Pictures!

I'm finally caught up on getting his weekly photo posted. I can't believe he'll already be 48 weeks/11 months old this Thursday! Only 1 more month til he's one. :-(

Jackson is getting so big. We have already had to move up the straps on his big boy car-seat and he can reach things you would never think he could reach. Its so amazing how fast he is growing.

He's wearing mostly size 18-24 month clothes and he's kind of in an in between size for shoes. He's a little too big for 4's but a little too small for most 5's still. Thankfully my mom found a pair of white Adidas tennis shoes (at a Once Upon a Child store for only $8) in a size 5 that fit him great and were in perfect condition.☺

I noticed yesterday that he's getting another tooth. I can see the white coming through already. He has all 4 bottom/middle teeth and he has 3 of the 4 top/middle teeth. The tooth that is coming through now is the 4th /top tooth (the tooth next to his left/middle top tooth).

He started (sort of) doing Patty Cake this week. We will sing the entire song and he'll just look at us and not do any of the motions, but as soon as the song is over he will clap and say yay! Ha, its pretty cute!

Fall is in the Air!

On my way to work this morning the temperature was 57 degrees. Its really starting to feel like Fall here in the STL. I really love Summer. Its probably my favorite season and I'm always sad to see it go, but I'm looking forward to Fall this year with Jackson. 

I'm looking forward to taking him to the Pumpkin Farm,

and to Eckerts for Apple Picking.

I can't wait for Trick or Treating,

Carving Pumpkins,

 and My Mother-in-Law's Halloween Party. (Which she didn't have last year because we had Jackson so close to Halloween.)

Our Church Bonfire,

and one of my very favorite things about Fall is Pumpkin Pie Concretes from Doozles!

I'm also looking forward to Thanksgiving with family.

And yummy pumpkin spice lattes from Starbucks!

Jackson's 46 Week Pictures!

Jackson is actually 47 weeks old already, but I'm just now getting around to posting his 46 week pictures. I did take them during his 46th week, but am just a little behind in posting them.

 Jackson started dancing this week!! Its so cute! Many of his favorite shows have a lot of music; (Backyardigans, Wonder Pets, Bubble Guppies) and he started moving his head and swinging his arms around when the music comes on. If you tell him to dance, he will often dance for you if there is music playing. Its way cute! I really need to get it on video.

He's still doing well with eating and sleeping. He's now drinking out of a sippy cup pretty well. My mom bought him one with a straw and he's even doing fairly well with that, although a lot of little floaties end up in his cup, Ha!

I can't believe we're almost a month away from his 1st birthday! Where has this last year gone??

Friday Randoms

♥ I've been doing some updates to my blog and realized you can set your mobile template to "custom" and its supposed to change the look of your mobile template to look more like your desktop template. I've tried several times, but my mobile template won't change. Do any of you know what I might be doing wrong???

♥ I added a little photo collage to a wall in my dining room. I'm loving it so far but want to buy a black "S" to add to it! (similar to the "W" in the picture below). I hope to find one this weekend, maybe at Hobby Lobby. I will post pictures as soon as its done. :-) Hopefully that will be this weekend or next week sometime.


♥ I will be so happy when Jake comes home tomorrow. He's been away on a golf trip with some friends since Wednesday. I've been doing alright without him, but it makes things a little harder when there is only 1 of us to do everything. My parents have been a big help. :-)

♥ Here are a few more pictures from the little photo shoot I did with Jackson this week for his b-day invitations. I still haven't narrowed a picture down yet, but these are some of my favorite outtakes. :-)

Embrace the Camera

Embrace the Camera is where you'll take a picture of YOU with your kids, spouse, friends, etc. The point of embrace the camera is to get in front of the camera and to document a bit of yourself.

I made an attempt to get a couple pictures of Jackson and I last night while we were eating dinner together. My husband is out of town on a golf trip, so it just Jackson and I til Saturday. 

These aren't the best pictures, but oh well. ☺

Notice the little crumb on his chin, LOL.

Wordless Wednesday

First of all, thank you all so much for joining us for our "A Day in the Life" Link up party! I've had so much fun reading your posts and meeting new friends! The link party is up until Friday night, so if you didn't get a chance to join us yesterday, please feel free to still link up! 

I was off work yesterday, waiting for Charter to come hook up our new internet and phone service. So I took advantage of the nice weather and took Jackson outside for a little photo shoot for his 1st birthday party invitations. I happened to get this super cute shot of him. I absolutely adore his beautiful blue eyes. I did some photo editing, but didn't enhance his eyes at all. Those baby blues are all natural.

I just love those few pieces of hair that stick up in the back.☺
