Jackson's First Holidays

I made a point to take a picture of Jackson in a special bib, shirt or outfit for all of his first holidays. Now that there aren't anymore big holidays before his birthday, I decided to put a little collage together of all of his first holidays. 

Jackson's 9 Month Pictures

Here are just a few of Jackson's 9 month pictures that I took over the weekend. I also took a few of my nephews, Mason and Landon as well. Mason is 9 months old too, so my sister wanted me to take a few of him. They turned out pretty good, considering it was a million degrees outside, even at 8:00 p.m. and Jackson didn't want to cooperate at all. I'll have to do a separate post sometime with some outtakes of him. Unfortunately, he takes after his dad when it comes to taking pictures. LOL.

Favorite Photo Friday

I thought I'd share some of my favorite Instagram photos from this week. Some were taken with my DSLR and some with my cell phone camera.

This was one of my photo a day pictures for this month. We had to take a picture of the "outside" and I got this pretty picture with the sun rays shining in on this building downtown St. Louis. I just really liked the colors and the rays of sunshine.

Here are a few more pictures of Jackson and I from our trip to the Splash Pad on Monday. He was not happy to be stopping for pictures when he really wanted to be down playing. He didn't cry, but he didn't want to look at the camera either. Ha. There were so many other, way more interesting things that he wanted to be looking at. So, though he's not smiling in any of these pictures, we did have a great time that day. ☺

Wednesday Loves and Pins

Its been a few weeks since I've joined in on WILW and OHPW, so I thought I'd join in today.

♥ I'm loving that Jackson is doing so well in our attempts at getting him to sleep through the night. Last night he woke up at around 12:30, but I was able to rock him right back to sleep without a bottle. Then he woke up at around 5:15 and I did give him a bottle at that time because it had been 8 hours. (Our goal is to get him to sleep 8 hours without a bottle.) He didn't even eat the whole bottle before he was right back to sleep. I'm hoping he will stop waking up, before 8 hours, sometime soon. I also love how he sleeps with his little butt up in the air. ♥

♥ I'm loving this picture I took of Jackson the other night, and the cool edits I used on PicMonkey.

♥ I'm loving this Homedics Sound Spa that I got for Jackson over the weekend. I really think its helping him sleep better and longer. It plays 6 different soothing sounds and has a little picture projector with three different themed disks. It also has a timer on it.

♥ I'm loving this new song by Switchfoot.

♥ And, I'm loving this sweet boy and his daddy. ☺

For this weeks Oh How Pinteresting Wednesday, I'm going to post some picture ideas for Jackson's 9 month pictures that I plan on taking this Friday evening.

Of course there are tons of cute ideas on Pinterest. ☺

And if Jake will comply, maybe we can get a quick family picture like this. ☺

A Trip to the Splash Pad

Yesterday, my sister invited Jackson and I to go to a splash pad over by her house. So since I was off work yesterday, I picked up my mom and we headed over to my sister's house for lunch and to enjoy the splash pad. We had a great time and the kids had a lot of fun!! Here are some pictures from our day.

Jackson wants to be big so bad. He just watched the bigger kids run around and wanted to run so bad. 

Once Jackson finally warmed up to getting the water in his face, he kinda liked it. ☺
