I'm excited for our first "Throwback Thursday" Link-up.
To go along with my Mother's Week theme, I've decided to do a Mother's Day edition of Throwback Thursday this week.

This is a picture of my family on Mother's Day 2004!
Braces and all! Gotta love it. Ha.
Our typical Mother's Day tradition has often been to go to church (just as we do every Sunday) and then go out to eat as a family, along with my Mom's parents, brothers and their families.
This particular year, in 2004, we went to The Pasta House for lunch. (Mom's eat free there on Mother's Day and Dad's eat free there on Father's Day. Its typically spaghetti for your lunch with a free piece of cheesecake for dessert.) Jake and his family joined us that year. We had been dating for about 3 years at this point. We had a nice day together. I love any time we get to spend with family.
This year we've decided to have lunch at my parents house. Restaurants are just way too crowded on holidays like this. Last year we waited over an hour for a table!! The men are going to fix us Mom's lunch this year, ha. We'll see how that goes. ☺ After lunch and time spent with my mom and family, we'll have dinner with Jake's mom at her house in the evening. Typically the Survivor Season Finale is on on Mother's Day. We watch Survivor every Wed. with Jake's mom so we'll go over there on Sunday evening and have dinner with her and watch the season finale with her. ☺
I've got their gifts all planned out, but will post on that next week. ☺
Do you have any fun Mother's Day memories or traditions??

I'm also linking up today with Holly and Jake for their Finish the Sentence Link up!
Unlike my sibling(s) (that I love very much)... I can't sew. My sister is so good at it and I've tried to learn a little bit here and there, but I just don't do it often enough to remember what I learned.
My best friend says... that we need to get together more often and I would have to agree with her. We really need to get together for a girls night.
People call me... Peanut, or at least my BFF does. ☺ I'm Peanut, she's Butter and my sister is Jelly, LOL.
I most often dream... about tornadoes for some odd reason. I don't dream often, but a majority of my dreams are about tornadoes... weird I know.
The best part of my day... is when I get home and Jackson gives me a big ole smile! Melts my heart every time.
I really don't understand... html code. Thank goodness for google search.
I get really annoyed... when people say their going to do something and they don't do it.
There's nothing like a... clean house! I love the feeling of sitting down and relaxing after I've just cleaned the house.
Lately, I can't get enough... sunny, warm days! I really hope this warm weather we're having now is going to stick around for a long time.
One think I am NOT is... a germaphobe. I am a clean and organized person and like my house to be very clean, but I'm just not one of those people that freaks out over germs. I go by the 5 second rule, even the 10 second rule, Ha.
I spent too much money on... our house. Right after we bought it, the housing market crashed and people were buying houses in our neighborhood for so much less. Now we'll be doing good to get what we owe on it when we go to sell. Hopefully things pick up in 2-3 years when we try to sell it.
I want to learn... how to use photoshop. I'm playing around with it, but I'd love to really learn how to use it well.
If I ever met some of my blogger friends, I would... be so happy!
I can't stop... watching Sister Wives. Its like a train wreck you can't turn away from.
Never have I ever... lived alone. I went from living with my parents my whole life, to getting married and living with Jake. I always wanted to move out on my own for a couple years before getting married, just to know I could do it, but just never could make it happen financially.
Reese Witherspoon... cracked me up in her arrest video. It was quite humorous.

I love the old photo! Sounds like your Mother's Days are really nice. We're going out to dinner with Michael's family on Saturday night to avoid the crowds, and we're going to my parents' for lunch on Sunday. My dad is taking care of lunch, but I'm sure that means picking up a bucket of chicken lol.
I totally had so many shirts similar to the one you're wearing in that photo. They were soooo trendy at the time.
I hope you have a wonderful Mother's Day!
You and Ashlee look the exact same today! :) And AMEN on a clean house. :)
Omg this photo is great! (In my sarcastic voice) Thanks sis!
Relaxing after cleaning the house is quite possibly one of the best things ever. It always frustrates me how quickly things get messy again, though!
Thanks for hosting such a fun link up!
