52 Project 2015: Week 4

I decided to do some black and whites this week. I just love black and white photos.

 Jackson: Just having fun while playing in Avery's room Monday evening.  He is just so much fun right now and I'm loving every minute of it. He does and says the funniest things.

 Avery: Happily playing in her room after bath-time on Monday night.

Storybook Photography - Senior Session

Back in August I took beautiful Madeleine's Senior pictures. She and her parents were so sweet and so fun to work with. We took these in Forest Park, which happens to be one of my very favorite places to shoot. There are just so many beautiful, tucked away places.

For this shot, I talked her parents into jumping in a photo with her and it ended up being one of our favorites!

Not-So-Wordless Wednesday

As much as I hate Winter, I am kind of loving the low key weekends and evenings lately that we're having. Our summer was so much fun, but it was busy. I'm really loving being able to just relax at home with my kiddos. :-)

Avery's Valentines Day Mini Photo Session

Over the weekend, my sister came over and we took Avery's Valentines Day pictures. I had been planning for it for a little while and couldn't wait to see it all come together. I ordered her headband from Sassy Sweet Pea Designs and found the idea to make the kissing booth here on Pinterest. Where else? :-) I bought a piece of wainscoting from Home Depot for my back drop and already had the faux wood paper for the flooring. The banner is from Target.

 Avery: She is getting more teeth and I think she feels them coming in because she has been sticking her tongue out all the time lately. LOL.

Five on Friday

 After some thought, I decided to go ahead and make a website for my Storybook Photography Business. I really wanted to have it done for the first of the year and I was able to get it done last week. I'm really happy with the way it turned out. If you get a second, go check it out here. 

 Speaking of Storybook Photography, I'm super excited to have 2 maternity sessions this weekend and I'm also excited that the weather is going to be decent for a change. It's been so cold here lately but the temps. are supposed to get into the 50's this weekend!! Yay.

 I ordered this headband from Sassy Sweet Pea Designs for Avery for Valentines Day and I plan to do a mini Valentines Photo Session with her. I am a brand rep for them and she actually got a pink V-Day headband, but the little leg warmers I have for her are red and white and I needed a red headband. So when I saw this one, I knew it would be perfect. I can't wait to take her pictures in it. 

  Two weeks from today exactly, we'll be at the happiest place on earth... Disneyland!!! I am so excited I can hardly stand it! We are taking Jackson for the first time and I literally can't wait!

 I'm also super excited because yesterday I was able to get tickets for my Mom, Myself and my Mother-In-Law to see Rodgers and Hammersteins Cinderella at the Fox Theater here in St. Louis for next Wed. night. My Mom and MIL grew up watching it and I can remember my Mom renting it for my Sister and I to watch when we were little. I've watched it a few times since then and Cinderella is my very favorite Disney character and movie, so I'm so excited to be going to see it!

Storybook Photography Family Session - The Millers

Back in September, while Tim and Jen were in town visiting the Stanfields (close friends of ours) they wanted to get some family photos of them and their daughter Harper. So we met up on a Saturday morning and got some really cute shots in New Town in St. Charles.
