This past week, I did a little make-over on one of our living room walls. I'm really liking the way it turned out.
Here's the before and after pictures.
Jackson is so tall that he can reach pretty much anything on this table. He loves to get the frames and its a constant battle with him. :-( I miss being able to set all kinds of pretty stuff out.
So my solution to the problem was to hang the pictures somehow. I moved our wedding photo over to our photo gallery on another wall in our living room. (I'll show you that re-do when I get it all finished). I decided to buy some 8x10 frames matted down to 5x7. They were only $3 each at Walmart! These pictures are all family pictures of both mine and Jake's immediate family (i.e. parents and siblings). I bought the "Family" and "Home" signs at Hobby Lobby for 50% off and only spent $20 total between the 2 signs. I thought I could put the Home sign back far enough that maybe Jackson couldn't get to it. The other stuff on the table is just for this picture. :-( I had to put it all away after taking the pictures because I know he would get into it.
Here are a few close-ups.
And here's a picture that shows the full wall.

It came out so beautifully!!! that looks awesome! I am not good at home decor type stuff... I guess I dont have a good imagination for it, I just steal ideas... haha... I may steal this one! :)
looks lovely! I remember when my son was little, he chewed EVERYTHING, and that included all the frames that we had around the family room (and I had a couple of tables covered with them!) Your post just reminded me of that! Once the kiddos reach that table height, it's a whole new world!
Looks GREAT Amy! What a wonderful wall of family for Jackson to see all the time!
It turned out great! I love it!
It's great - I love how perfectly the frames were hung. You should do a tutorial on how you got them so neat.
It looks great! I'm a big fan of the $3 Walmart frames!
Oh I LOVE it!! Looks so great! We are moving the end of March so I haven't really done any decorating but this makes me excited to get into a new place and decorate it so that it finally feels like "home"!
LOVE IT!
We're fighting the same battle with things on our end tables. We HAVE to leave our lamps on them, as we have no overhead lights, and Marcus thinks it's funny to pull on the cords. UGH!
I love nothing more than a wall full of pictures :) looks great!
It looks so good! I love it.
