2013 In Pictures (Part 1)

Happy New Years Eve!! I hope you've all had a wonderful year! I know we certainly have. We are excited to see what 2014 holds for us and have so many fun things to look forward to, starting with Jackson's first plane ride in late Jan. when we visit a friend in Phoenix, AZ, preparing for the birth of our sweet baby girl in late April/early May, and becoming a family of 4.

My sweet blog friend Sara at Running From the Law, posted a Year in Review and I thought it was such a fun idea that I am going to do the same here on my blog. These are pretty much all pictures of Jackson, as he's my number 1 photo subject. Enjoy.

22 Week Bump Date

How Far Along: 22 Weeks
(You can check out my 22 week post from when I was pregnant with Jackson here.)

Size of Baby: (According to babycenter.com) 22 weeks: Your baby is about the size of a spaghetti squash. At close to 11 inches and almost 1 pound, your baby is starting to look like a miniature newborn as her lips, eyelids, and eyebrows become more distinct.

Total Weight Gain/Loss: I just went to the doctor last Monday, and totally forgot to pay attention to how much I had gained total. At 17 weeks I was up 10 lbs.

Maternity Clothes: Yes, all maternity clothes.

Gender: Its a GIRL!!! Still nameless though. :-(

Movement: Yes, feeling movement more and more.

Food Cravings: None yet.

What I miss: Nothing really.

Sleep: Having to get up at least once a night to use the restroom and just can't seem to get comfortable sometimes.

Symptoms:  I'm feeling pretty good, just a growing belly.

Best Moment this week: Celebrating Christmas with family this past weekend and adding to baby girl's quickly growing wardrobe!! Girl clothes are so darn cute and so fun to buy. It's also been great to have some time off to spend with just our little family of three and play with all of Jackson's new toys that he got for Christmas.

What I am looking forward to: Deciding on a name for baby girl and getting started on her nursery in the new year. I got her changing table last week after my sister found the one I was wanting on Craigslist for only $30!!
