This week at Practical Scrappers, our DT challenge was to use stamps on a project. So I used a pumpkin stamp, which I stamped on solid paper to help it stand out more and added some orange stickles to it. I also used the cricut cartridge Paper Doll Dress Up for the corn stalks. The little candy corn are some old buttons I have had for a long time. I also used my threading water punch for the black scalloped edges and I used my MTC software to cut out the title and black scalloped circle behind the stamp. These pictures are from our church's harvest fest that we have every year. Our bonfire was huge, as it always is, but it was raining for the first part of the evening so thats why you see umbrellas and everyone standing under the tent in the bottom picture. But the rained cleared up and we were able to enjoy the fire and the festivities. Thanks for looking.

Layout I made for a gift.
This was a gift I made and framed for some friends of ours. Their son had his first birthday party yesterday. I used my Cricut and my Make the Cut software to cut out the title and letter "H". Thanks for looking!! :-)
Friendly Ghost Layout
This is a layout I finished last weekend for my Halloween/Fall 2009 album. These pictures are from my MIL's halloween party. My husband dressed up as a ghost and left notes (tacked to jack-o-lanterns) for the kids to follow that would eventually lead them to their baskets of candy. One of the many games they played that night. The kids had a lot of fun. These pics are of the kids reading the notes left by the "friendly ghost" and following where the notes lead them. I used my cricut and Make the Cut to cut out the title and scalloped edge and I used the cricut cartridge Paper Doll Dress Up to cut out the ghost. Thanks so much for looking.

Some more vinyl for my wall.
After using vinyl on my wall in my bedroom, I started thinking of other things I could do on my walls and I thought of this. I used my MTC program and my cricut to make these cuts. I think it turned out really cute!! Its in my hallway. Thanks for looking.
Kansas City Chiefs Glass Block Light
This is a glass block light I made for my husband. He LOVES the Kansas City Chiefs and we have decorated our family room in our basement using KC Chiefs memorabilia. I made this light to put down there. He really liked it. I used my Make the Cut program and found the Chiefs logo on Wikipedia.com. Thanks for looking. :-)
Practical Scrappers Flower Challenge
Our DT challenge at Practical Scrappers was to use flowers. I made this layouts using sunflowers from the Stretch Your Imagination cricut cartridge, along with some brads, ribbon and stickles. The title was made using my Make the Cut and it was the Ravie font. The layout was made using a sketch over at Stuck on You Sketches. Thanks for looking!! :-)

Vinyl for our Master bedroom wall.
This was something I've been wanting to do for a while, but just hadn't gotten around to it yet. My DH flew to AZ yesterday, along with his 2 brothers, to visit their dad who is in the hospital. So since I had some free time last night, and needed something to occupy my mind, I decided to go ahead and give this a try. I'm really happy with the way it turned out. I used my cricut and Pagoda Cart. to cut out the "dream" symbol and the dragonflies. Then I used my Make the Cut software to cut out the word dream, using a font called Dragonfly. Thanks for looking everyone and please keep my DH, my BIL's and my FIL in your prayers.
A few other layouts for my 2009 Fall/Halloween Album
For these three layouts I used Make the Cut for a lot of the cuts. The only cricut cartridge I used was George and that was to make the pumpkins on the Fall Fun page. I did use the drippy goo punch for the Halloween Party page and I also used another Martha Stuart Punch for the zig zag edge on the Fall Fun page (not sure of the name fo the punch). I also used some ribbon, stickles and stick pins.
Thanks for looking!!!
Practical Scrappers Brad Challenge

Practical Scrappers Die Cut Challenge
This week's DT challenge at Practical Scrappers was to use a die cutting machine of any kind. I, of course, used my cricut expression to make this double layout for my 2008 Halloween/Fall album. These pictures are from our annual Harvest Fest at our church. Each year we have a costume parade and all the kids get a bag of candy for participating. I love seeing all their costumes. Thanks for looking!!
